1 Forest Park lane is located at the base of Libe Slope, close to the West Campus House System and convenient to Central Campus. Residents enjoy close proximity to the intellectual, cultural, and culinary perks of West Campus, while maintaining their own unique character and independence.
Cornell Food Pantry

109 McGraw Pl, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Built in 1965, this tan brick modern lodge has projecting balconies, a deep cornice, and windows separated by brick pilasters and dark panels.

112 Edgemoor, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

112 Edgemoor is the smallest of Cornell's residence halls, housing 20 transfer and upperlevel continuing students. It is situated in a residential neighborhood next to Cascadilla Gorge, between West Campus and South Campus.

301 College Avenue is a multi-level apartment building in Collegetown, containing 26 residential units ranging from studio to six-bedroom apartments. The building also includes a ground level convenience store, elevator, and in-unit kitchen appliances.

Akwe:kon, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Akwe:kon (pronounced uh-GWAY-go) opened its doors in 1991, making it one of the nation's first university residence halls established to celebrate American Indian culture and heritage. Whatever their cultural background or tribal nationality, residents share an interest in past and contemporary Native issues and the importance of community and extended family.
Alice Cook House 

Alice Cook House, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Alice Cook House opened in August 2004 and was the first of five Houses in the West Campus House System, Cornell University's residential college initiative. The House was named in honor of Cornell faculty member Alice Hanson Cook (1903-1998).

Balch Hall, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Balch Hall is a residence for first-, second-, third-, and fourth-year female-identified students. A four-story Gothic building that opened its doors in the 1920s, Balch is one of Cornell's most historic and unique residence halls, with ivy-covered stone walls, mullioned windows, and flagstone-bedded interior courtyards and gardens.

Barbara McClintock Hall is part of Cornell's First-Year Experience, and houses first-year students. McClintock Hall is named in honor of Cornell 1923-1927 graduate and Nobel Prize winner Barbara McClintock.
Carl Becker House

Carl Becker House, Ithaca, NY 14850

At Becker House, students create an engaged community of their own and where they can explore socially, culturally and academically far beyond their major. Named for distinguished professor of American and European history, Carl Lotus Becker, the House brings the mission of “learning where you live” alive.
Cascadilla Hall

Cascadilla Hall, Ithaca, NY 14850

Cascadilla Hall is located in the heart of the vibrant South Campus community, close to the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts, and to restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and social gathering spots. Built in 1864, Cascadilla was acquired by Ezra Cornell as the university's first residence hall.

Clara Dickson Hall is the largest residential community on North Campus, housing more than 460 students. Starting 2024-2025, Clara Dickson houses first-year students, sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Court-Kay-Bauer Hall, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Court-Kay-Bauer (CKB) Hall is a combination of three connected residence halls that make up one close-knit community. These four-story modern buildings opened their doors in 2001.

Ecology House, Ithaca, NY 14850

Flora Rose House

Flora Rose House, Ithaca, NY 14850

Flora Rose House is a part of the West Campus House System, a faculty-led community for upper-level students on Cornell's west campus. Rose House includes a main building with residential rooms and suites, apartments for the House Professor-Dean and Assistant Dean and their families, and a House Office, dining room, library, and other common spaces.  The community also includes the Gothic buildings Founders Hall, Lyon Hall (for women only), Mennen Hall, and South Baker Hall, all of which house Rose House residents.
Ganedago Residence Hall

Ganędagǫ: Hall is named in the language of the Gayogo̱ hó:nǫ', the name for the Cayuga Nation in their own language. Ganędagǫ: (pronounced Gah-NEH-dah-go), means “it's in the hill,” which was the ancestral name for the land upon which Cornell is built. The naming was supported by the Cayuga Nation’s current leadership.
Hans Bethe House

Hans Bethe House, Ithaca, NY 14850

Since 2007, Hans Bethe House has provided Cornell sophomores, juniors, and seniors both an introspective home for personal growth and intellectual curiosity and an outward-facing hub for exploring the breadth and diversity of the Cornell community. The community includes a Main building and a Gothic building, McFaddin Hall, which houses Bethe House residents.

Hasbrouck Apartments, Ithaca, NY 14850

For graduate and professional students, Hasbrouck is an active, multicultural housing complex with a popular community center and plenty of opportunities for engagement with your neighbors.Hasbrouck is especially ideal for families with young children, with weekly children's and youth activities, and four playgrounds that fill up every day after school.

With the Robert Purcell Community Center and Toni Morrison dining just a few feet from their front doors, High Rise 5 and Jameson Hall are located right in the thick of Cornell's North Campus community. Both are pod-style residences, featuring multi-bedroom pods arranged around a central lounge and a kitchen on each floor. The buildings' most dramatic features are their top-floor Skylounges, which overlook all of North Campus, the university golf course (also great for cross-country skiing), and Fuertes Observatory.

Jerome H. Holland International Living Center, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Students from all over the world form a global community at the Jerome H. Holland International Living Center. International students as well as non-international students with a passion for cross-cultural exchange -- all with an interest in international issues -- share their cultures and traditions at HILC, and provide support and assistance to Cornell's international undergraduate students.

Just About Music, Ithaca, NY 14850

Of the 160+ students living in JAM, only a handful are music majors, but all share a passion or appreciation for music - whether they avidly listen to music or actively sing or play an instrument in a band. The house has a concert stage with lighting and sound, a well-equipped recording studio, 24-hour piano room/practice room, and practice instruments (guitar, piano, drums, etc.).

Mary Donlon Hall - named for one of the country's first female judges, a Cornell alumna - is known for its sociable ambiance and close-knit community. The building has an expansive, light-filled first floor with seating areas, a lounge, and a library. The theater-style multipurpose room, with its large-screen TV, is a popular place for students to hang out and play Dance-Dance-Revolution, watch Monday Night Football, and have movie nights.

Located just below Collegetown, Schuyler House is convenient to classes and on-campus eateries, while also being rooted in the life and culture of Collegetown and downtown Ithaca.
Sheldon Court

Sheldon Court, Ithaca, NY 14850

Sheldon Court is located next to the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts in Collegetown, one of the most exciting and festive parts of Cornell's campus. Just steps away are popular restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and social gathering spots. Originally built as a privately owned residence for students in the Italianate style, Sheldon Court is an early example of student housing on a scale well beyond the boarding houses that were already becoming popular near campus.

Starting 2024-2025, Toni Morrison Hall and the Language House at Toni Morrison Hall will house sophomores, juniors and seniors.
The hall is named for Toni Morrison, the first African American woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Morrison earned a B.S. in English in 1953 at Howard University and a master’s degree in American literature in 1955 at Cornell. An A.D. White Professor-at-Large at Cornell from 1997 to 2003, Morrison returned to the Ithaca campus numerous times over the years.

The Townhouse Apartments are a great option for students who want the independence of apartment-style living, but also the convenience and support of living on campus. Starting 2024-2025, Townhouse Apartments will house sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Ujamaa Residential College, Ithaca, NY 14850

Ujamaa (pronounced "OO-juh-muh") celebrates the rich and diverse heritage of Black people in the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, and other regions of the world. The word Ujamaa in the East African language of Kiswahili means the process of working together as an extended family to build and maintain a cohesive community. This theme characterizes the atmosphere at Ujamaa Residential College, a friendly, warm, and cooperative living environment that supports its members and helps students excel at Cornell.
Veterans House, Co-op on West Campus

Veterans House provides a communal, co-ed, environment to any undergraduate or graduate student interested in learning more about, and supporting, the military community. Prior military service and/or a commitment to future military service is not required to live in Veterans House. While the focus of the program house is to support Cornell’s student veterans, having a diverse residential program will foster an atmosphere that not only benefits student veterans but also creates a greater awareness of the unique challenges they face.
Wait Terrace

Wait Terrace, 308 Wait Ave, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Wait Terrace is one of the university’s cooperative residences, a collaborative and independent community governed by its student residents.Located at 308 Wait Avenue on north campus, Wait Terrace is a small, friendly community of up to 13 co-op enthusiasts.  Residents often socialize together over meals, or – in nice weather – on the house’s porch, which includes a hammock, porch swing, and barbecue.

William Keeton House, Ithaca, NY 14850

Keeton House continues in the spirit of its namesake, William Keeton, whose research demonstrated that homing pigeons use no one specific thing, but rather multiple points and processes for navigation. Likewise, Keeton House intentionally provides multiple points of reference and engagement from which residents can find their own way, all within an engaged living learning community.
