Mews Hall
Mews Hall offers students a welcoming and engaged residential experience at the heart of Cornell's North Campus community. Located adjacent to Appel Commons, residents enjoy convenient access to dining, study spaces, recreation, and campus resources while becoming part of a vibrant community designed to help students make the most of their Cornell experience. Mews is an excellent fit for students who enjoy meeting new people, exploring new opportunities, and staying connected to the social and academic energy of campus life.
Mews Hall is also home to Loving House, one of Cornell's Program Houses. Loving House provides an intentional and supportive residential community centered on LGBTQIA+ identities, inclusion, and allyship. Through community-building, dialogue, and educational programming, residents have opportunities to explore topics related to identity, sexuality, gender expression, cultural competency, and social systems while contributing to a welcoming environment grounded in mutual respect and acceptance.

Faculty Involvement
Claire Menard, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Romance Studies, is the Faculty-in-Residence for Mews Hall and Loving House. She lives in an apartment in the building with her partner, AC Sieffert, their two children, and regularly spends time with student residents of the Mews community.
Mews also has a number of Faculty and Community Fellows that provide students with opportunities to explore and cultivate their academic, intellectual, and cultural interests. You will find them attending events in your building, eating with students in the dining room, and leading on and off campus trips to lectures, plays, films, concerts, and regional points of interest.
