Summer Housing On Campus

Summer 2020

Summer Housing applications are now closed. Students with extenuating circumstances who need on-campus summer housing through August 9 may contact summersessionhsg@cornell.edu to inquire if they can be accommodated.

COVID-19 Update

Cornell's Summer Session will be hosted as online classes for Summer 2020. Please check the Summer Sessions website for information on when on-campus classes will begin. Summer housing will be considered only for eligible Cornell students.

Undergraduate Students/Graduate & Professional Students:

Accommodations:
Eligible undergraduate students will stay in designated residence halls on Cornell's North Campus. All housing accommodations will be single rooms. Live-in residential staff members are available to support students throughout their stay. Men and women will have separate bathroom facilities. Self-service laundry facilities are located in the building. Common areas (lounges, bathrooms) are cleaned daily. Depending on the building, most bedrooms are not air conditioned; a box fan is recommended.

Rates and Date Ranges:
Undergraduate summer housing rates are $43.25 per person, per night for a single. When you apply for summer housing, you will have the opportunity to request a date range for your stay. Check-in begins at 12:00pm and checkout is by 10:00am on the date of departure. Additional charges may apply for approved early check-in and late check-out.

Housing fees are refundable only if you officially withdraw from your program, or leave housing prior to August 1, 2020. Please email summersessionhsg@cornell.edu if your plans change and you do leave campus and are eligible for a refund. All refunds are prorated and are assessed a $100 processing fee.

Note: Your housing contract is binding and you agree to the summer housing terms and conditions at the time you submit your housing application.
