Cornell University

Welcome to Cornell's Living-Learning Communities

You'll find a strong connection between living and learning at Cornell as you settle into your new home. Over 60% of undergraduate students live on campus, learning from and growing with people who bring a wide variety of experiences, perspectives, and interests. For tours of program houses and residence halls, see @CornellHousing on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.

SPRING 2022 housing assignments and move-in:

Housing assignments for new and returning students will be emailed in early December with instructions for signing the housing license and selecting a move-in date and time. Detailed move-in information will be sent to all students (new and returning) by mid-December, 2021. Residence halls open for spring on January 18, 2022, and new transfer students will likely be asked to arrive on January 19, 2022. More information to come!

Apply for spring housing through the housing portal!

2022-2023 academic year housing for upper-level undergraduates:

There are information sessions this fall, including the application process for serving as an RA and a Housing Expo on Saturday 10/30/21. Read about the housing selection timeline for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors.

FALL 2021 on-campus housing for CURRENT students:
