Cornell University

Welcome to Cornell's Living-Learning Communities

You'll find a strong connection between living and learning at Cornell as you settle into your new home. Over 50% of undergraduate students live on campus, learning from and growing with people who bring a wide variety of experiences, perspectives, and interests. For tours of program houses and residence halls, see @CornellHousing on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.

FALL 2021 housing assignments and move-in:

Housing assignments for new students were emailed June 22, 2021 with instructions for signing the housing license and selecting a move-in date and time. Detailed move-in information was sent to all students (new and returning) by August 4, 2021. Move-in dates for new students are August 19, 20, or the morning of August 21, in order to fully participate in Orientation activities.

Please read the Cornell University arrival instructions carefully. The details for your specific arrival date and time and residential building are in the email you should have received by August 4.

FALL 2021 on-campus housing for CURRENT students:

On-campus rooms are fully booked so it’s unlikely we’ll be able to offer you on-campus housing for fall 2021. Read about our suggestions and the timeline for applying for spring 2021 housing.
