All Ithaca campus first- and second-year full-time students are required to live on campus through the spring semester of their second academic year of enrollment, beginning with first-year and transfer students arriving in fall 2021. All new transfer students are required to live on campus for one academic year. Spring transfers are required to live on campus for their incoming spring semester as well as the following academic year. All students living on campus in residence halls are required to enroll in a university meal plan. Read the Residential Policy.

Current Undergraduate Students

Room Selection for 2023-2024 housing for current undergraduate students begins January 9 with the opening of the General Room Selection application. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to participate in their community’s Continued Occupancy process, Program House Selection, Cooperative Housing Mosey in addition to General Room Selection.  Upper-level room selection is a self-selection process by which a student selects their room via our online housing portal, much like you would an airplane or theater seat.
