Residence Hall Accommodations for Families and Guests Spring 2023

Degree candidates participating in Commencement may make reservations for up to ten (10) beds for family members or friends to stay in guest housing for Commencement weekend.

Accommodations are in Cornell's undergraduate residential buildings on North campus. Commencement Weekend dining hours can be found on the Cornell Dining website

Accommodations
Accommodations are available in the following buildings (subject to change):

Cornell's North Campus:

All rooms are in climate-controlled buildings. Rooms in Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Barbara McClintock, Hu Shih and Court-Kay-Bauer Hall are clustered with shared bathrooms. Townhouse Apartments have two double-occupancy rooms, a shared bathroom, living area, and kitchen. Toni Morrison offers rooms in suites with private bathrooms.

Included: Rooms are furnished with bed sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels. Hair dryers are not provided.

Bathrooms: Many of the residence halls have common bathroom facilities. Some accommodations, such as the Townhouse Apartments, have bathrooms that are shared with other rooms within the townhouse or suite.

Air conditioning, climate control:
The Townhouse Apartments offer air-conditioned accommodations.  Toni Morrison, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Barbara McClintock, Hu Shih and Court-Kay-Bauer Hall are climate-controlled buildings, but do not have individual air vents in each room, nor thermostats. All climate-controlled buildings have a temperature setting between 71 and 74 degrees.

Disabilities: Commencement accommodations are in buildings with elevator access, except Townhouses. Adaptive accommodations are available for those with disabilities. Please refer to the Disability Housing Requests section at the bottom of this page.

  • Name, address, email address, telephone number of the guest.
  • Name, address, email address, telephone number of the degree candidate.
  • Total number of people in the group, to help us accommodate the rest of the group in close proximity.
