Rayan is part of the inaugural class of Kessler Presidential Scholars in support of first-generation college students.

I feel accomplished because I'm taking a huge step in the right direction. Being the first in my family to go to college and especially the first in my family tree to attend an Ivy league makes me feel proud. 

During my time at Cornell, I hope to learn more about myself and my limits while also pushing my boundaries past their limits to refine myself into a better person both physically and mentally.
