"Growing up mixed made it difficult to belong. Throughout my life, while attending Jewish activities and events, many people thought I was the non-Jewish person tagging along with my Jewish friends. As I readied for college, I did not expect anything different. Within just a few days, I realized I could not have been more wrong. Cornell Hillel welcomed me with open arms. Through my involvement with Hillel, I have made amazing friendships, explored my Judaism, and found a home away from home."
