"As a freshman, I was worried about finding a community that I could truly belong to. I grew up as a practicing Hindu, so, on a whim, I applied to Hindu Student Council. In the next few years, this community would become the most important part of my Cornell experience. Being around other Hindu students at Cornell helped me realize that I belonged, as I had many new friends to not only pray with and explore more about Hinduism, but also to support me in other areas of life."
