Adirondack Leadership Expedition

Our Adirondack Leadership Expedition is a multi-day paddling trip in the beautiful Adirondack Lakes Region of Upstate New York. During the trip, students study and practice leadership techniques while developing their canoeing, camping and portaging skills. The two-person canoe allows pairs to work on communication, feedback, and coaching skills. This trip offers a unique and influential experiential education experience in a serene setting.

Big Bend Expedition

Far from Cayuga’s Waters, our Big Bend Expedition is a multi-day river trip on the Rio Grande. We gather in Big Bend National Park, Texas for an exceptional outdoor experience that includes canoeing, camping, and hiking. Instructors integrate leadership lessons into every program day so that students can apply new skills throughout the trip and reflect on their development.

Design your own Leadership Expedition!

Multi-day trips in the style of Outward Bound or NOLS are a great way to combine leadership development, fun and memorable experiences that strengthen your group. These can range from 2-10 day trips, anywhere in the world. Our Cornell instructors often team up with local guides to create an experience that is educational, individualized, and authentic. Many of our Leadership Expeditions are designed for people who have limited experience adventuring outdoors, so you don’t need to have technical skills to have a fantastic time!
