Rental Rate Multiplier
Our rentals are computed on a pro-rated basis. The base rate is charged for the first 24 hours of a rental. After the first day, we use the following pricing structure to keep the rental costs reasonable:

Payment & Reservations
Payment required at time of pick up via check, Mastercard/Visa, CU bursar or department charge. Due to university policy, we are unable to accept cash payment. Customers must pay full rental fee in advance to reserve equipment. Equipment can be reserved over the phone during open hours.
Equipment returned late will be subject to additional base rate plus a $10.00 late fee.
There is no charge for reservations cancelled more than 2 days in advance. 50% of fee charged if cancelled fewer than 2 days in advance. No refunds for equipment not picked-up.
All gear must be returned to staff during Outfitting Open Hours, at the Bartels entrance. Items are expected to be returned clean. Alert to staff to any known issues at the time of drop off. Gear will be checked by staff later, and if there are issues with damage or unclean items, staff will contact you. There is a $10 per item charge for each item that we must clean.
Damage & Loss
You are responsible for the full costs of repair or replacement if gear is damaged, lost or stolen.
