How to dress and what to bring to be prepared for class:
- Dress to be in the pool every class
- An swim suite that stays in place and is comfortable with lots of movement is essential.
- Shorts that tie at the waist are great for everyone and give you a layer between you and the kayak seat/outfitting (board short or running sorts work great).
- Consider a swim or sun shirt (or any synthetic light weight shirt). Its often more comfortable to have a layer between you and the lifejacket when paddling.
- If you wear glasses or contacts think about what works best for you in the water
- A towel to dry off with and extra cloths to put on after class are nice so you don't have to leave class dripping and cold are great! You do have access to the locker rooms and showers at the pool
- A water bottle is nice since you will be active during the class
- Optional - some people like having swim goggles in the class
