COE 50th Anniversary All Staff Reunion Camping

Hoffman Challenge Course Camping Information

The Reunion Team and COE staff are doing everything we can to keep the reunion affordable, sustainable and fun. We’re so happy you’re thinking of joining us at the Reunion Basecamp at the Hoffman Challenge Course. FREE camping at the Hoffman Challenge Course is a way to offer inexpensive accommodations, keeping local car trips to a minimum, while also providing a festive atmosphere and gathering place. Most activities and adventures will start and/or end at the HCC Reunion Basecamp.

Amenities

HCC Group

Reunion camping at HCC offers car-camping style accommodations somewhere in between “glamping” and “rustic.” The tent sites are a short walk (between 30 and 100 yards) from the parking area.

Water
Potable water will be available and sufficient for drinking and handwashing. All attendees will receive a stainless steel Kleen Kanteen with the 50th anniversary logo.

Shelter

  •     Your can bring your own tent. There are dozens of locations for tent camping either in the field or in the shade of the trees. Feel free to bring your own car-camping tent.

  •    You can reserve a COE tent in advance. Don’t have your own tent? Or don’t have room for it in your carry-on bag? COE Outfitting has set aside their whole inventory of 2- and 3-person rental tents for Reunion use at NO CHARGE. However, there are a limited number of tents, so be sure to reserve one in advance by emailing Outfitting at coewizard@gmail.com

  •     Hammock camping is also a possibility in the abundant woods on Mt. Pleasant
