Friday- May 17th, 2024

David Moriah's Celebration at Buck's Barn

The COE Advisory Board Members were joined by Director of Athletics and PE, Nikki Moore, Vice President of Student and Campus Life, Ryan Lombardi, and Provost Michael Kotlikoff at Buck's Barn. During the exceptional afternoon event, the COE full-time staff and Advisory Board Members had a chance to mingle and celebrate Nikki Moore’s first full year at Cornell.

Student Engagement Dinner

Current COE students enjoyed Thai food with the Advisory Board members in Basementland and shared stories about their adventures. 

Saturday- May 18th, 2024

Group Adventures

COE staff joined the Advisory Board Members and their family for a morning of adventure activities including hiking the Black Diamond Trail, canoeing on Cayuga Lake, visiting the Ithaca Farmer's Market and biking.

Round Table Discussions

From 4pm-6pm COE staff and advisory board members met to discuss four topics, related to the COE Vision Statement. These topics including solving challenges that we face in the following areas:

• COE's spatial needs, challenges and restrictions
• A Cornell Health collaboration to explore the mental health impact for COE programming for Cornell Students
• Opportunities for marketing and promotion of COE programs
• How to keep alumni engaged and leverage existing events to support COE (like Cornell Reunions)
