About the Department:The Division of Student & Campus Life is here to provide you with programs and opportunities that inspire student and staff journeys and transformation. We promote the well-being of the entire campus community through Cornell Health’s holistic wellness approach and Athletics & Physical Education’s intramural sports, PE courses, and recreation. We foster community on campus through residential programs, cheering on our varsity sports teams, and bringing people together in our many dining establishments.

About the Department: The Organizational Excellence, Human Resources, and Administrative teams support SCL's dedicated staff throughout the division. The Communications and Marketing team tells the story of Cornell students through their engagement across SCL's multiple units and programs to the Cornell University community on and away from campus.

About the Department: The Finance and Operations team ensures the effective deployment of Information Technology, Facilities, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Analytics, and Financial Planning support services to departments within the division.  Working collaboratively as integrated cross-functional partners, leaders from the SCL-OVP support team strive to enhance the day-to-day operational effectiveness of our campus, deliver timely business reporting and information to stakeholders, manage key divisional systems and processes, and steward financial and capital resources on behalf of the SCL-VP.

Areas of Oversight: SCL Finance, Business Services, Facilities, Information Technology, and Business Intelligence

Alumni Affairs and Development

Campus and Community Engagement

About the Department: In my department, we are responsible for engaging students outside of the classroom. We serve students by providing a co-curricular experience focused on finding a sense of belonging, leadership development, and engagement in activities on campus.

About the Department: Cornell Housing and Residential Life prioritizes a strong connection between living and learning. Cornell Dining encompasses 29 eateries and takes pride in providing our customers with a rich dining experience, and not just a meal. Cornell Catering is a unit within Cornell Dining, seeks to create a welcoming campus environment, foster community, and nourish the future. Conference and Event Services has provided operational and strategic event support to Cornell for over 100 years.

About the Department: The Department of Athletics and Physical Education strives to provide students with powerful and meaningful participatory experiences that forge enduring bonds with Cornell, and to provide for the well-being of members of the faculty, staff, and community.

We offer a diverse program of physical and outdoor education, recreational services, and intercollegiate athletic competition, equitably administered with special attention to the needs of women and members of under-represented minority groups. We foster the values of physical fitness, total well-being, and enduring participation in athletics; teach leadership skills, teamwork, responsibility, and accountability.

About the Department: Cornell Health is here to help students Live Well to Learn Well. As a unit within SCL, our goal is to support campus health and foster student readiness to learn and participate fully in the Cornell experience. We strive to provide high-quality care that recognizes the experiences, values, and needs of the individuals who comprise Cornell’s diverse community.

Areas of Oversight: Administrative Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Medical Services, Nursing and Clinical Support Services, Occupational Medicine, the Skorton Center for Health Initiatives, and Student Disability Services.
