Overview of Responsibilities

Student & Campus Life Communications and Marketing tells the story of the Division of Student & Campus Life and its multiple units and programs to the Cornell University community through the creation, implementation, and assessment of effective integrated marketing communications.

SCL Communications and Marketing supports the Division’s internal stakeholders to reach their full potential and convey our mission of inspiring transformation. Our office’s core focus is to strategically craft and disseminate SCL’s collective story about its impact on the Cornell student experience.

SCL Brand and Identity Guidelines

Student & Campus Life (SCL) is a division comprised of a system of multiple units, offices, and program areas unified and connected by a single mission to inspire transformation. The SCL Identity Architecture is to be used as outlined by all SCL units, offices, and program areas to serve our mission by supporting enhanced brand recognition, increased message alignment, and divisional connection with our student, parent/family, staff, alumni, and donor audiences.​

Amy Gaulke (she/her) drives division-wide communications and marketing efforts with a team of communicators to ensure a unified strategy and integrated approach across all communications platforms. She is responsible for:

Oversees the development and management of the SCL Communications editorial calendar for the division including editorial/storytelling, digital/multimedia production, and social media that serves strategic public relations, brand reputation, student success, and fundraising needs.
