Our Councils

Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council (MGFC)

The Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council is culturally-based fraternities and sororities who serve to coordinate programs between its own members, members of the council and the rest of the community with an emphasis on service and culture. MGFC is comprised of fraternities and sororities that identify as Historically Black, Latinx Based, African-Social Justice and Asian-Interest Organizations.

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

We, the Interfraternity Council, exist to promote the shared interests and values of our member fraternities: leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship.

Panhellenic Council (PHC)

Panhellenic's mission is to foster supportive environment, which values scholarship, philanthropy, leadership, and personal growth through a unified sisterhood.  Our sororities are values based social organizations, providing members with a tight-knit community of peers, and personal growth opportunities through leadership development and service projects.

Chapter Live-In-Advisors/House Directors

Who are Live-In-Advisors: Live-In-Advisors are employed by each organization and serve their chapters in various capacities and have different roles. They interact with all members on a daily basis. Please see below the available positions and also fill out the Live-In-Advisor Candidate Information Survey.

Kappa Alpha Theta

Position: Facility Director

Facility: Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta

The Facility Director is a live-in position that includes room, board, parking, utilities, and a monthly stipend for part-time work. The Facility Director supervises the work of contracted cooks and housekeepers, and student kitchen cleanup employees. The Facility Director will be responsible for the management of all chapter facility staff and contractors; coordination of all facility management including inspections, regular maintenance, housekeeping, and repairs in the operation of a commercial kitchen and student residence; and adherence to and enforcement of chapter facility budgets and chapter rules and regulations. A qualified candidate will be professional, have a positive attitude, and have exceptional communication skills while being organized, flexible, and a self-starter.

Required qualifications:

1.      Ability to work in a prompt and professional manner with college-age women, contractors and vendors, university officials, and alumnae volunteers.

2.      Availability to meet with vendors, contractors, contracted cook & housekeeper, and chapter members at the facility during regular workday and evening hours.

3.      Availability to attend monthly evening meetings with Advisory Board members and/or House Corporation Board members.

4.      Availability to attend to emergencies at the facility at any time, including during regular workday hours.

5.      Computer competencies, including Google apps, Zoom, and e-mail.
