University Events & Traditions

Movies on the Arts Quad: Bring your friends and blankets to the Arts Quad for a movie under the stars! Offered multiple times at the beginning of the fall semester and end of the spring semester. MOTAQ is planned by Cornell University Class Councils, CU Tonight, and Campus Activities with support from Cornell Cinema.

ClubFest: Looking to join a club or organization? They'll be at ClubFest! ClubFest happens at the beginning of each semester. ClubFest is planned by the Willard Straight Hall Student Union Board and Campus Activities Office.

Slope Day: This tradition concert event started in 1901 and has continued to grow! Slope Day includes the main concert, Slope Fest on Ho Plaza, BreakFest food offerings by Cornell Health, Alternative Slope Day trip to the Hoffman Challenge Course, and more. Slope Day is planned by the Slope Day Programming Board, the Campus Activities Office, and Conference & Events Services.

Senior Days: A series of senior-only events to celebrate their achievements! Senior Days are planned by the Senior Days Committee within Cornell University Class Councils and the Campus Activities Office.
