I am a Cornell student and am unable to login to CampusGroups. Why is this happening?
Your CampusGroups access is based on your student status. If you are not active on campus, you will temporarily lose access to CampusGroups. You may need to reach out to OUR or your advisor to restore your student status. If you believe you have lost access in error, please contact campusgroups@cornell.edu
How do I know which Group Tags to assign to my group?
Group tags are meant to assist potential members in finding your group. To read what each tag means and find the most relevant tag(s) for your group, please look here.
I need to change my group's officers, but do not have permissions to do so. What should I do?
Students are not meant to have access to change their officers outside of the re-registration process. Instead, please email changes to activities@cornell.edu. To ensure that we can best support you, please send changes in the following format:
Names of currently listed officers who should be removed Names of currently listed officers who should remain the same Names and NEW positions of currently listed officers who have had a change in positions Names, NetIDs, and positions of officers who need to be added
I am an officer but I'm unable to access my group's funding in CG. Why is this happening?
Funding access may temporarily be removed if your group is not compliant with a university policy. To determine what policy you are not following correctly and to get instructions on how to rectify the issue, please contact activities@cornell.edu
How do I allow non-Cornell attendees to RSVP for my event?
In order to register for an event in CampusGroups, all attendees will have to create a guest account. Please be sure to send your non-Cornell attendees instructions for creating an account when you invite them to your event. More information and sample instructions can be found here.
What is the best way to make sure I don't have any group members who have not signed the waiver necessary for my group?
We recommend turning on member validation and making sure any potential members have the appropriate waiver tag before validating their membership. To learn more about these settings and membership tracking in general, please read our guide.
