Meet the OSCCS Team

Christina Liang

Director; Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards

Christina (she/her/hers) serves as the Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS). In this position, Christina leads the OSCCS team in upholding community standards through the student conduct process under the Student Code of Conduct (Code). Christina also works with many campus partners in educating, addressing, and resolving student and student organization behavioral concerns across campus.

Christine Nye

Associate Director, Group Behavior and Development

Christine (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director for Group Behavior and Development in the OSCCS.  In this role, Christine works with student organizations on preventative education and resolving behavioral concerns with a focus on restorative-based resolutions.

Karen G. Vicks

Hearing Panel Chair

Karen (she/her/hers) serves as the Hearing Panel Chair in the OSCCS, where she works closely with the University Hearing and Review Panel, who resolve Formal Complaints in the Student Code of Conduct’s hearing process. Karen comes to the OSCCS after having served as Title IX Coordinator/Student Conduct Coordinator at a small liberal arts college.

Eleni Riechers

Assistant Director

Eleni (she/her/hers) is an Assistant Director in the OSCCS where she works as an informal resolution coordinator or investigator for students or student groups. Eleni comes to the OSCCS after having worked in Housing as a Resident Assistant, Area Coordinator, and Community Director. Her favorite thing about working as an Assistant Director in the OSCCS is the conversations she is able to have with students and the growth she witnesses in students throughout their time at Cornell. Outside of work, Eleni enjoys coaching youth cheerleading and spending time with her fiancé and three dogs.

Erika Crawley

Assistant Director

Erika (she/her/hers) is an Assistant Director in the OSCCS. She is responsible for facilitating investigations for formal processes and mediating agreements in the informal process for both individual and group cases. Erika comes to the OSCCS after having served as the Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution at The University of Texas at El Paso, an Area Coordinator for The University of Maine at Farmington, and a Residence Hall Director at Florida Memorial University.

Gregory Brown

Assistant Director

Greg (he/him/his) is an Assistant Director in the OSCCS where he focuses on the informal resolution process and serves as an investigator for formal complaints.  Prior to the OSCCS, Greg worked in housing and residential life with a focus on student conduct administration at the College of William & Mary, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University at Buffalo.  He enjoys learning about the perspectives and experiences that make each Cornell student unique.  Away from campus, Greg loves exploring all that the region offers with his wife and child.

Janey Bosch

Case Manager

Janey (she/her/hers) Janey is the Case Manager in the OSCCS, where she manages all referrals to the office and student sanctions.  Additionally, she maintains all files and the conduct record check process.   Janey came to Cornell from Harvard, where she worked at the Center for the Study of World Religions before transferring into the House System. Janey enjoys learning about students’ backgrounds, interests, hopes, and dreams.  When away from campus, Janey loves to knit and swim and is an enthusiastic birder.

Vinnie Clementine

Office Coordinator

Vinnie (he/they) is the Office Coordinator for the OSCCS. He is responsible for scheduling, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and overseeing the office’s organizational needs. Prior to Cornell, Vinnie worked as a department manager and local framer here in Ithaca. He also has a background working for the College of Western Idaho as a Writing Consultant and Computer Literacy Tutor. When not at work, Vinnie can usually be found baking, painting cats, birdwatching, or looking for frogs.
