Karen G. Vicks
Hearing Panel Chair
Karen (she/her/hers) serves as the Hearing Panel Chair in the OSCCS, where she works closely with the University Hearing and Review Panel, who resolve Formal Complaints in the Student Code of Conduct’s hearing process. Karen comes to the OSCCS after having served as Title IX Coordinator/Student Conduct Coordinator at a small liberal arts college. Karen’s favorite part of working with students is watching their growth from their first day on campus through commencement and helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities in between. You can find Karen swimming laps at the pool, running laps around her neighborhood, and spending time with her husband and four kids.
Karen earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Education from the University at Buffalo.
