The success of the SCL Priority Roadmap is up to all of us. We all play key roles in the work across SCL – with students, with each other, and with our campus partners. Be an “Actor” – Help enact change from start to finish with an SCL Priority Action Team!
Actors (SCL Priority Action Teams)
Duration of commitment: minimum of one year, preferably for duration of priority project (up to three years); beginning as early as September 2023
Obligation of commitment: 1-4 hours per week with variance by project; on-site and zoom meetings plus intermittent retreats and out-of-meeting assignments; potential action step leadership; written communication; engagement with student and staff stakeholders
Level of engagement/involvement: accountable to the Action Team Chair for completion of required work
Be an “Advisor” – Be a thought partner to help Action Teams with inclusive and mindful planning!
Advisors (Action Team Advisors)
Duration of commitment: minimum of one year, beginning as early as September 2023
Obligation of commitment: 1-4 hours per month with variance by project; on-site and zoom meetings plus out-of-meeting information-gathering; perspective and insight sharing on action plans
Level of engagement/involvement: responsible for consistent conversation with Action Team members, as diverse thought partners contributing to informed plans and actions
Be a “Unit Partner” - Focus your efforts on departmental goals that are priority-aligned!
Unit Partners (Driving Departmentally Aligned Goals)
Duration of commitment: duration of project or assignment determined by supervisor
Obligation of commitment: determined by supervisor
Level of engagement/involvement: projects and work assigned by supervisor that contribute to unit alignment with SCL values and/or priorities; beginning as early as September 2023; accountable to supervisor or Action Team, as assigned
