GradGuard

GradGuard College Renters Insurance is designed for students. Your rates won't go up if you file a claim, there are no sub-limits on electronics coverage, and there are no penalties for depreciation. Coverage protects physical items you bring to college including cell phones, laptops, clothing, bicycles, textbooks, gaming systems, furniture, and jewelry (up to the policy limits) from things like theft, fire, smoke, vandalism, wind, sprinkler system discharges, and more.

CSC Laundry

Forget waiting in line, counting coins, and stressing about the status of your laundry loads. Monitor the status of your hall's laundry machines using the CSCPay Mobile app. The app allows you to see balances and manage your account, check washer and dryer availability, and get notified when your wash or dry cycle finishes. Laundry has never been easier or more convenient!

Lazybones - Bulk Laundry & Dry Cleaning Service

Did you know you can bring your laundry to select Campus Life Service Centers and have it returned clean and folded the next day? Cornell partners with Lazybones to offer this affordable service to busy students. You can select a package by the semester or pay by the pound, and can bring your laundry to the North Campus Service Center and Hasbrouck Service Center.

Laundry service from Lazybones starts at $1.45 per pound, and dry cleaning is priced per item. My MicroFridge

A combination refrigerator and microwave unit is an ideal space-saving solution for students living in residence halls, offering two essential appliances in one compact footprint. This convenient setup allows students to easily store fresh food and beverages while having the ability to quickly heat up meals or leftovers, all within arm's reach of their study space. Not only does this combination save valuable floor and counter space, but it also provides students with the basic amenities needed to maintain a flexible eating schedule around their busy academic and social lives.  

Microfridges may be rented and placed in your room and can be ordered directly from My MicroFridge. Order early and have the unit placed in your room before you arrive. 

Big Red Shipping and Storage

Big Red Shipping and Storage (BRSS) is Student and Campus Life’s preferred shipping and storage vendor, and they offer pre-arrival services to ease the busy trip to Ithaca. They receive your items, place them in storage, and put them into your room before you arrive on campus! Big Red Shipping and Storage offers move-in, move-out and summer storage services to Cornell University students.
