Returning from Winter Recess

Winter Recess: December 21, 2025 – January 13, 2026

Undergraduate residences reopen on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 9:00am. Students may move back in at any time before classes begin on Tuesday, January 20 and must sign up for an arrival timeslot in the Housing and Dining Portal.

Please remember to check in on the Housing and Dining Portal after you've arrived, as this ensures your continued building access. Failure to do so within 10 days of arrival will result in revocation of access. Don't let this happen!

1.       Log in to the Housing and Dining Portal with your Cornell NetID
2.       Click the "Undergraduate" tab or button
3.       Click "Continue" for your 2025-26 Academic Year application
4.       Navigate to the Spring Check-in page and click "Check In"

Self-check-in is a necessary action step in maintaining your building access.
