Mary Beth Grant

Senior Associate Dean of Students, Care & Crisis Services

Mary Beth Grant serves as a Senior Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Care and Crisis Services Team.  In these capacities Mary Beth is a member of the Crisis Management and Community Support Teams, oversees the University Speech Management Officials, and represents the Dean of Students office on the emergency management team. 

Janet Shortall

Associate Dean of Students

Janet is an Associate Dean of Students, member of the Care and Crisis Services Team, within the Office of the Dean of Students. A founding member of the University Crisis Management Team and the Community Support team, she now oversees the Crisis Management Team.

Reba McCutcheon

Associate Dean of Students

Reba is Associate Dean of Students, Care and Crisis Services, serving as a Senior member of the Crisis Management Team and oversees the Community Response Team. She serves in an advisory capacity for both Body Positive Cornell and Nature RX, and is a member of the Tompkins County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Reba served on the university’s Mental Health Review, has presented at national conferences such as CIVSA and IVY+ and holds memberships with NASPA, ACHA, and NAMI.

Danielle Haynes

Associate Dean of Students for Conflict Coaching and Case Management

Danielle "Dani" Haynes is the Associate Dean of Students for Conflict Coaching and Case Management. Dani is passionate about advocacy, creating innovative programs, and being of service to others.  Previously, Dani served as a legislative aid for the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, an advocate for the YWCA Rape Crisis Center and the Coordinator of Student Case Management at Bowling Green State University.   She earned a dual B.A. from The Ohio State University in political science and African American and African studies and her M.A.

Mar Pérez

Senior Coordinator

Mar is a Senior Coordinator in the Care and Crisis Services and Crisis Management Team. She manages aspects of cross-functional coordination, information systems management, and logistics for crisis management and community support teams. She represents the Dean of Students Office at the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) weekly meetings.  Mar also participates in strategic planning for public relations and marketing functions in the Care and Crisis Service Team.

Marie Roller

Office Manager, Staley Center

Marie, a member of the Care and Crisis Services Team, is the Office Manager of the Elizabeth Chapman Staley Center. She is the administrative support for the Senior Associate Dean of Students and supports the Care and Crisis Team with programs, supervises the student employees, and scares the copier. Marie is also the administrator for the Student Child Care Grant. Marie earned an Associate degree from Corning Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the SUNY Empire State College.
