Greta Kenney

Greta Kenney serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Students for Student Support and Advocacy Services. In her role, she provides strategic leadership for the Student Support and Advocacy Services’ team, which aims to support students in distress with a goal towards overall well-being and empowerment. She also serves as chair for the University’s Behavior Intervention Team (CARE Team). In her previous Cornell role, Greta served as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Women’s Resource Center.

Prior to Cornell, she was the Director of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Before her work in higher education, Greta worked in the non-profit sector as a gender-based violence case manager, advocate, and educator. Greta earned her B.A. in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the University of Connecticut and her M.Phil in Diversity Studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
