2025 Family Weekend Attendee Information
We are excited to welcome you to Cornell University for Family Weekend. This special weekend is an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful campus, spend time with your student, and experience life at Cornell.

Check-In
Check-in and packet pickup will take place in the Toni Morrison Hall Multipurpose Room (across from Toni Morrison Dining Hall). Your packet includes your welcome bag, t-shirt (if purchased), souvenirs, and other materials.
- Thursday, October 30 | 4:30–6:30 pm (Early Check-In)
- Friday, October 31 | 11:00 am–6:00 pm (Standard Check-In)
- Saturday, November 1 | 9:00 am–12:00 pm (Late Check-In)
If you cannot check in during these times, your student may pick up your materials with their Cornell ID and a copy of your registration confirmation or ticket email.
If your student is unavailable and you arrive when check-in is closed, please visit during the next open window or call 607-255-9292 for assistance.
All registered guests must check in to receive Family Weekend name badges, which are required for entry to Family Weekend events.

All events are first-come, first-served unless you purchased a ticket for a specific event. Please make sure to review the schedule for any last changes or updates. Your Family Weekend name badge (received at check-in) is required for entry. Students will also have a name badge included in your materials.

Parking on Campus
Campus parking rules will be in effect during Family Weekend. We recommend parking before heading to check-in or your first event so you can settle in easily.
Families may park in A Lot, B Lot, Crescent Lot, Bartels Lot, Tower Road, and Peterson Lot beginning at 12 pm on Friday, October 31 (no permit or payment required). Note that Crescent Lot and Bartels Lot will be closed on Saturday due to the football and women’s hockey games.

- A Lot is approximately a 5-minute walk from the Toni Morrison Hall Multipurpose Room (check-in).
- On Friday, families may ride the TCAT Route 81 bus for free to get around campus. Weekend frequency varies; check the TCAT real-time tracker.
- Paid parking options closer to the campus center may be available and are marked with ParkMobile signage.
- Many central campus lots are open on Saturday and Sunday without permits or additional fees. Always read lot signage, as some areas remain restricted.
- For wayfinding and accessible entrances, use the Cornell campus map.
Dining on Campus
Families are welcome to dine at any open locations throughout the weekend.
- Cornell Dining
- Most locations are cashless and accept credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
- Students may use guest meals for family members in dining rooms.
- Menu details and dietary or allergen information are posted at dining locations.
- Peak times may have waits; consider dining early or late.
