PE 1639: Rock Climbing Conditioning
Develop your climbing skills at your own pace! This class is self-conducted, with staff available for safety monitoring, questions, and light instruction. Each week new training practices and topics will be communicated as well as routes that focus on particular movements. To receive credit, you must attend eight 2-hour climbing sessions, which you will schedule by reservation. Separate reservations will be available for Bouldering and Roped Climbing (Top Rope and/or Lead). Previous rock climbing experience required.
Belay Staff will not be provided, but can be self-coordinated with other course participants. As a result, Top Rope Belay Certification will be required to reserve a Roped Climbing session. Students without TR Certification may reserve a Bouldering session, and seek Belay Certification during their session. Once they have received certification, they can reserve either type of session.
