High Rise #5

Exterior photo of High Rise 5 with green trees and bushes around it on a sunny day with a blue sky

With the Robert Purcell Community Center and Toni Morrison dining just a few feet from their front doors, High Rise 5 and Jameson Hall are located right in the thick of Cornell's North Campus community.

Both are pod-style residences, featuring multi-bedroom pods arranged around a central lounge and a kitchen on each floor. The buildings' most dramatic features are their top-floor Skylounges, which overlook all of North Campus, the university golf course (also great for cross-country skiing), and Fuertes Observatory.

"I like that High Rise 5 consists of suites. This not only allows me to cook whenever I please, but also allows me to get close with a group of girls." — Rachel B.
