Our Councils
Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council (MGFC)
The Multicultural Greek & Fraternal Council is culturally-based fraternities and sororities who serve to coordinate programs between its own members, members of the council and the rest of the community with an emphasis on service and culture. MGFC is comprised of fraternities and sororities that identify as Historically Black, Latinx Based, African-Social Justice and Asian-Interest Organizations.
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
We, the Interfraternity Council, exist to promote the shared interests and values of our member fraternities: leadership, service, brotherhood, and scholarship.
Panhellenic Council (PHC)
Panhellenic's mission is to foster supportive environment, which values scholarship, philanthropy, leadership, and personal growth through a unified sisterhood. Our sororities are values based social organizations, providing members with a tight-knit community of peers, and personal growth opportunities through leadership development and service projects.

Chapter Live-In-Advisors/House Directors
Who are Live-In-Advisors? Live-In-Advisors are employed by each organization and serve their chapters in various capacities and have different roles. They interact with all members on a daily basis. Please see below for available positions.
Open Positions:
Sigma Pi
The Mu Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity at Cornell is currently seeking a Live In Advisor (LIA) for the 2026–2027 academic year. This position provides free room and board at 730 University Avenue, along with compensation for approximately 30 hours of work per week at New York State minimum wage.
This role is ideal for a graduate student who is interested in mentorship, leadership, and supporting student success within a Greek housing environment. Prior experience in Greek Life, athletics, or other student leadership roles is preferred but not required.
The LIA will serve as a positive presence in the fraternity house, providing guidance to undergraduate leaders, supporting community standards, and helping maintain a respectful and inclusive living environment. A full job description is attached for your reference.
