Move-In Instructions for South Campus

Please read this entire message for detailed move-in instructions, and review everything carefully so you can finalize your travel plans for a successful arrival. It is to your advantage to arrive at your selected time slot and follow our move-in instructions below to make the move-in process as efficient and smooth as possible. Note: We advise you to arrive and check in before the service desk closes at 7pm on Monday - Friday or at 4pm on Saturday - Sunday. If that is not possible, please follow the instructions below.

MOVE-IN AND ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS  

Arrival Monday, August 18 – Friday, August 22, from 9 am – 7 pm, and Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, from 10 am – 4 pm 

Cascadilla Hall and Sheldon Court residents will proceed to Cascadilla Hall to unload, check in, and pick up your keys/ID (if applicable). Some assistance will be provided, but please know that you (and guests) will be responsible for unloading and moving your belongings to your room. Please have your printed Dash Pass on your dashboard (with a cell phone number).  

Once unloading is complete, the driver will be asked to move the vehicle to the upper Williams Street lot.

Schuyler House residents will proceed to Cascadilla Hall to park temporarily to check in and pick up your keys/ID (if applicable). You will then proceed to Schuyler House to unload and move in. Some assistance will be provided, but please know that you (and guests) will be responsible for unloading and moving your belongings to your room.   

Arrival Monday, August 18 – Friday, August 22 after 7 pm; and Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25   after 4pm  

If you arrive after the Cascadilla Hall Service Center is closed, you will need to call the number located on the main door of your assigned hall for assistance with checking in.  The staff member on call will assist you in accessing your room so that you may unload your belongings. You will not receive your keys and/or student ID at this time. Please know that you (and your guests) will be responsible for unloading and moving your belongings to your room. Please have your Dash Pass on your dashboard (with a cell phone number). You will be able to temporarily unload in the areas listed below.  Once unloading is complete, the driver will be asked to return to the upper lot of the Williams Street lot to park.

To obtain your keys and student ID, you will need to do the following:

  • Proceed to the Cascadilla Service Center to obtain your keys/ID and officially check in the following morning 

Unloading areas:  

Residents of Cascadilla Hall  

  • Paid City of Ithaca Garage just to the south of Cascadilla Hall   
  • Paid parking spaces along Dryden Road
  • Williams Street Lot upper lot at the corner of Williams Street and Stewart Avenue

Residents of Sheldon Court  

  • Limited parking spots are available in the Sheldon Court loading dock
  • Paid parking spaces along Dryden Road
  • Paid City of Ithaca Garage just to the south of Cascadilla Hall   
  • Williams Street Lot upper lot at the corner of Williams Street and Stewart Avenue. 

Residents of Schuyler House 

  • Proceed directly to Schuyler House. Please know that you (and your guests) will be responsible for unloading and moving your belongings to your room. Please have your Dash Pass on your dashboard (with a cell phone number).   
  • Once unloading is complete, the driver will be asked to move the vehicle to the spaces furthest from the door in the building parking lot. No overnight parking please.
