Marla Love

Robert W. and Elizabeth C. Staley Dean of Students

Dr. Marla Love serves as the Robert W. and Elizabeth C. Staley Dean of Students within the Division of Student and Campus Life (SCL). As part of SCL's broad vision of creating transformation through co-curricular programs and services, the Dean of Students provides vision and leadership for Student Support & Advocacy Services, the Diversity Cultural Centers and Student Empowerment areas, and Student Conduct and Community Standards.

Jessica Edwards

Executive Assistant to the Dean of Students

Jessica Edwards (she/her) serves as the Executive Assistant to the Robert W. and Elizabeth C. Staley Dean of Students. In this role, Jessica is a vital point of contact for students and university stakeholders. She collaborates closely with the senior leadership team to plan and implement administrative priorities. Jessica is also pursuing a master's degree in Social Work at Syracuse University.  

Greta Kenney

Senior Associate Dean of Students for Student Support and Advocacy Services

200 Willard Straight Hall

Greta Kenney serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Students for Student Support and Advocacy Services. In her role, she provides strategic leadership for the Student Support and Advocacy Services’ team, which aims to support students in distress with a goal towards overall well-being and empowerment. She also serves as chair for the University’s Behavior Intervention Team (CARE Team). In her previous Cornell role, Greta served as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Women’s Resource Center.

Michelle Van-Ess Grant

Senior Associate Dean of Students, The Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging

Michelle Van-Ess Grant serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Students for the Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging (The Centers) at Cornell University. In the role, she provides strategic leadership for the Centers’ team, which aims to cultivate co-curricular identity-based programs, resources, and community space.

Christina Liang

Senior Associate Dean of Students and Director; Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards

Christina (she/her/hers) serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS). In this position, Christina leads the OSCCS team in upholding community standards through the student conduct process under the Student Code of Conduct (Code). Christina also works with many campus partners in educating, addressing, and resolving student and student organization behavioral concerns across campus.

Kevin W. Williams

Senior Associate Dean of Students

207 Willard Straight Hall

Kevin Williams (he/him/his) serves as a Senior Associate Dean of Students and supports the development of co-curricular programs and services focused on creating transformative experiences for all students. In this role, Kevin currently leads all hiring and onboarding efforts for senior staff in the Dean of Students (DOS) area and focuses on high-priority projects for student and staff belonging, well-being, and growth.
