Kerry Howell, M.S., ACSM EP, ACSM/ACS CET

Director of Cornell Wellness

Kerry is the Director for Cornell Wellness. She uses her knowledge of exercise physiology and nutrition to help improve the lives of not just the members but all of the Cornell community. Kerry graduated cum laude with a B. S. in Fitness & Cardiac Rehabilitation/Exercise Science from Ithaca College and received her Master's degree in Exercise Physiology.

Wellness Community Programming Specialist

C is the Wellness Community Programming Specialist for Cornell Wellness. C graduated from Purdue University with a double B.A. in Neuroscience and Human Movement, earned a M.Ed. from Bowling Green State University in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Psychology, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Iowa in Health & Sport Studies and Gender & Sexuality Studies.

Brinda Vijaya Sankar, MSc, RD CDN

Nutrition and Health Outreach Specialist

Brinda Vijaya Sankar is the Nutrition and Health Outreach Specialist for Cornell Wellness. She received her Bachelor’s in Nutrition, Dietetics & Food Service Management and Master’s in Food & Nutrition from Madras University, India. Brinda is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in New York State and in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition working in a variety of clinical settings such as acute care, primary care network, and senior homes in three different countries.

Wellness and Fitness Specialist

Tina Hunt is the Wellness and Fitness Specialist with Cornell Wellness. She earned her B.S. degree in Clinical Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength Training and Conditioning from Ithaca College, and her M.S. degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University – Bloomington.

Ashley Wallace, B.A.

Administrative Assistant

305 Helen Newman Hall

Ashley is the Administrative Assistant for Cornell Wellness and the entire Recreation Services Department. She graduated cum laude from Johnson C. Smith University, an HBCU in Charlotte, NC, with a B.A. in criminology. Ashley has worked for Cornell University for 7 years and enjoys being the first point of contact for all faculty, staff, retirees, spouses and partners that sign up for a Wellness Recreation Membership. She is also the main source for Cornell Wellness information.
