Born in Zimbabwe, I immigrated to Perth, Australia with my family when I was 10 years old. I attended Jewish day schools and graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science and a Law degree. After working for one year as a lawyer in Perth, I moved to Israel to pursue my studies of Jewish law and philosophy. After marrying my wife Miri in 2009, we moved to Crown Heights where I was ordained as a Rabbi. We moved to Cornell in 2012 with our only son Mendel at the time, to work for Rabbi Eli & Chana Silberstein at the Chabad House of Cornell, also serving the Ithaca Jewish community. Our family has grown, now with 5 children. We feel privileged to service the Jewish student population at Cornell and look forward to meeting you and sharing stories and ideas.
