Server update on Tuesday will require a brief GET outage affecting Cornell Dining guests
SCL's Student Services IT team tells us there will be a service outage for GET mobile app and web functions the afternoon of Tuesday, April 1st during a server software update. This will affect mobile ordering, checking and adding funds, and GET MyCard scanning. Credit card purchases and our hours and menu displays at Cornell Dining Now won't be affected.
The server update is scheduled for 3:00-4:30pm on Tuesday during spring break, to minimize impact to guests visiting campus eateries.
Guests will be able to swipe their physical Cornell ID cards or provide their ID numbers at Cornell Dining's door checker and cashier stations.
Please plan ahead to check your BRBs or MealChoice balance or available meal swipes, and add funds as needed, before the outage on Tuesday afternoon.
The outage should last no more than the planned 1.5 hours "unless we encounter unplanned complications," says SSIT. We will provide an update if necessary.
