Katharine Turk, Arts and Sciences 2027
Katharine (Kate) is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Biological Sciences with minors in Public Policy and Environment & Sustainability. Her hometown is Pensacola, Florida. She works as a theatre technician in the Performing & Media Arts Department's scene shop and as the assistant managing editor of The Cornell Daily Sun, Cornell's student newspaper. Outside of work and academics, Katharine loves traveling, trying new things, and meeting new people. Find her in the audience of any theatre production on campus or diving into a book near a gorge. Esther Yoon, Arts and Sciences 2027
Esther is a senior from Bellevue, WA, studying psychology with a minor in Spanish. You can find her working at the front desk of Olin Library, volunteering as a Diversity Admissions Ambassador, or studying for her next prelim at the Cocktail Lounge. During her leisure time, Esther likes to picnic with friends on the slope, watch the sunset, eat spicy Korean noodles with her friends, and plan family trips all over the world. Karina Jagdeo, Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management 2027
Karina is a senior from Brooklyn, NY in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. Minoring in real estate, Karina aims to build a career in the commercial sector and eventually shape the future of affordable housing. She now mentors first-generation, low-income students through the KKR Accelerator Program, supporting their growth through career development and community-building. She also works within her project team, Hack4Impact on external relations. In her free time, Karina loves playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and doom-scrolling on Tiktok. Deborah Olorunda, CALS 2028
Deborah is a junior from Northern Virginia studying landscape architecture in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. In addition to her role on the SAC, she is on the executive board for the Cornell Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and works at the Landscape Architecture Makerspace. Gabby Lenzmeier, CALS 2028
Gabby is a junior from Minneapolis, Minnesota, studying Global Development concentrating in Economics, and minoring in Business, Information Science, and Food/Agriculture Business. On campus, she has also served in leadership roles for Cornell Panhellenic Council, Cornell Global Business Club, Business Review, and Order of Omega Honors Society. Outside of working at Cornell Library and studying, Gabby enjoys watching sports, volunteering at Cornell hockey games, going thrifting with friends, and traveling. Owen Jones, Human Development 2028
Owen is from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He studies Health Care Policy in the Brooks School of Public Policy and is completing minors in Data Science and Business. He is passionate about the intersection of healthcare, leadership, and community service. On campus, Owen is involved in Cayuga Healthcare Consulting and Big Red Hearts, and he is the Vice President of his fraternity. He works in the Cornell Commitment Office as an Administrative Assistant. Outside of academics, Owen is usually out running in Ithaca or walking his golden retriever. Elena Centeno, Arts and Sciences 2027
Elena is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Sociology with minors in Business, Law & Society, and Human Development. She serves as Executive Director of Development at Student Agencies Inc., where she supports the corporation’s strategic growth and new venture development. In the community, Elena mentors a 14-year-old Ithaca High School student through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. She hopes to pursue a career in operations and compliance, focusing on organizational efficiency and optimization. In her free time she enjoys playing basketball and spending time with loved ones. Beau Reid, Arts and Sciences 2027
Beau is a senior from Hurley, NY, majoring in Government in the College of Arts & Sciences. He is passionate about education and plans to become a teacher after graduating. You can find him working at Fresh Marche in Collegetown, helping students at the Microeconomics Support Center, teaching and organizing with Splash! at Cornell, or climbing with friends at Lindseth. Logan Carr, Engineering 2029
Logan is a sophomore from Satellite Beach, Florida, studying Mechanical Engineering. He hopes to commission as a Submarine Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy after graduation. He works as a student assistant at Olin Library and serves as an Orientation Leader. He is involved with the Design Build Fly project team on campus.
