Originally from Michigan, Cassidy received her B.S. in Sports Management from Western Michigan University. Whilst at WMU, she served as a manager for the Division I Women's Basketball program for two seasons and helped establish a men's and women's club volleyball program as head coach and president. In 2018, she moved to Elmira, NY to pursue her master's degree in General Management from Elmira College while also being the graduate assistant for the Division III Women's Field Hockey program. She took over the program as head coach in January of 2020, where she saw great success academically within her team during the 2021 Spring and Fall seasons. During her time at Elmira College, she also worked within Enrollment Management, where she assisted prospective college students through the application and financial processes, gave campus tours and helped set up on-campus events, such as admissions events and community outreach event days. 

Cassidy joined Career Services in March 2022 and in June 2022 began her role as the Employer Relations Program Coordinator.
