Sister Lisa Ladle

Sister Lisa Ladle- LDSSA Spiritual Advisor                        

Lisa graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Music and Italian.  She served as a missionary in Italy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1980-1982.  She taught Italian at Miami University from 2007-2017.She and Bruce Ladle married in 1985.  They have 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and two grand dogs, Obi and Moonie ?.  

Religious service.    Lisa has been involved serving in her church all her adult life.  She has worked with children, teens and adults in her years of religious service. She has taught religious classes, held administrative positions and directed choirs.   She was most recently the president of her area women’s organization, Relief Society.  Her presidency focused on training and supporting women’s groups in 9 congregations and working with the community at a large homeless shelter in Cincinnati. She was also  heavily involved on JustServe.org, a service website, .  She is inspired by others and their journey in life.  She hopes to build bridges of faith and trust here at Cornell; with students as well as the other campus chaplains/ministers.    

In her spare time Lisa likes to walk, travel, read, sew and, most especially, spend time with family and friends.
