As you prepare to move out, returning your assigned keys is a required part of the check-out process. Proper key return helps ensure building security and allows spaces to be prepared for incoming residents. Please review the information below carefully to understand where, when, and how to return your keys and avoid unnecessary charges.
Key Return Locations
North Campus: Robert Purcell Community Center entrance drop boxes (2) – available 24/7, and the North Campus Service Center.
Collegetown: Cascadilla Hall entrance drop box (left of the Service Center window) – available 24/7
Cental Campus: Willard Straight Hall entrance drop box (across from the cinema entrance) – until 11:00 PM daily
West Campus House Offices (5 locations)
Key Return Envelopes
Required: Return all key(s) in a completed Key Return Envelope. Envelopes are available at your Service Center. Key(s) may include, but are not limited to: room, suite, bike room, storage room, main entry, alternative access, etc.

Envelopes Available: May 5
Deadline for Key Return: 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17
Billing Information
Any student who has not returned their assigned keys by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, will be charged $104 per missing key.
Note --
All keys must be returned in a completed Key Return Envelope and placed in a designated key return location to avoid key charges.
Returning your assigned key(s) is your responsibility—do not give your keys to a roommate, friend, or RA to return on your behalf.
Forgot to return your key?
Immediately, contact your Service Center or House Office for instructions on returning your key overnighted via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
