The Public Service Center is hiring Tutors for the spring Semester! Our tutors are motivated and dedicated individuals who provide tutoring and/or mentoring assistance and support to local school students. Tutors have the opportunity to be placed in the following programs: America Reads and America Counts Challenge, STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program), Upward Bound, and the 21st Century Afterschool Program.

Pre-College Opportunity Program, Program Assistant

The Pre-College Opportunity Programs seeks Program Assistants that will make significant contributions to Upward Bound and Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) in the Public Service Center. The Program Assistant will work with the Upward Bound Associate Director and/or STEP Assistant Direct to support the office logistics critical to the success of Upward Bound and STEP. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and reviewing documents; managing student and program data; and planning and coordinating Saturday Academy programs for students. Therefore, the ideal candidate must have a solid work ethic, intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite), and the ability to work independently.
