Try the Campbell's award-winning taco around campus this month!

by Rachel Joseph

Cornell Dining is proud to feature our award-winning dish from this summer, a Cilantro Lime Pork Carnitas Taco, at select dining halls across campus over the next three weeks. This delicious entrée will be available at Jansen’s Dining Room at Hans Bethe House on November 6, Robert Purcell Marketplace Eatery on November 13, and Okenshields on November 20.

Inspiration for the Cilantro Lime Pork Carnitas Taco came from the winning dish at the University of Massachusetts American Culinary Federation Competition. The gold-medal-winning dish, Pulled Pork Tacos Pico de Gallo with Lemon Zest Crème, was created by House Chef-Manager Jacob Kuehn, Central Campus Operations Manager Anthony Cecala, Cook-So6 Josh Holden, and Cook-So6 Stephen Snyder. The ACF competition focused on “health, sustainability, and food ethics” and “healthy cuisine that is rich with flavors, yet embraces environmental responsibility.”
