Get Cooking this fall with Cornell Dining!

Cornell Dining is offering two opportunities this semester for students to learn some cooking skills from our talented culinary team at the amazing Discovery Kitchen inside Morrison Dining! Students can practice preparing delicious plant-based dishes and then enjoy the results of their work, discovering how satisfying eating sustainably can be.

The Discovery Kitchen, a state-of-the-art teaching facility developed in partnership with the Division of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Human Ecology, offers a dozen cooking stations.

For the Fall 2024 semester, the following classes are planned:

  • October 2nd: Apple Pie, Pumpkin Spice and Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Maple Earl Grey tea
  • November 6th: Lentil and Bean Chili and Cornbread

If you'd like to attend the November 6th class, please register using this survey! Space is very limited, so please only fill out the survey if you're sure you'll be able to come! The first 24 students to complete the survey will be registered to participate in the class, and you'll receive an email from cudinsustaincor@cornell.edu confirming your registration, if you're on the list.

Students who register but don't receive a confirmation are welcome to come to the Discovery Kitchen at 4:30pm, and available seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis if there are no-shows among the registered students.

A registration link for the November 6th session will be released later this semester.
