Cornell reaches highest-ever spot in Princeton Review's campus food rankings!

Cornell University is consistently ranked in the Princeton Review's Top Ten for best campus food among all colleges and universities in the country, and this week we've landed at the highest-ever spot on the list — #2! That high rating comes from student surveys, and reflects Cornell Dining's commitment to serving high-quality foods that are healthy and creatively prepared with genuine care for a diverse community.

"The Princeton Review is an example of direct customer feedback, and that makes it very valuable to me," says Cornell Dining's Executive Chef Ambarish Lulay. The Princeton Review tabulated this year's rankings from responses to surveys of 165,000 students at the 389 schools listed in their book, with 85 questions in four sections.

Paul Muscente, Director of Cornell Dining, adds that the "highest ever ranking proves that our guests see and recognize our endeavors to appeal to such a wide variety of culinary tastes and dietary needs." Cornell Dining often hosts themed dinners inspired by world cuisines, and offers meals all over campus that support vegetarian and vegan diets and kosher and halal traditions.

Paul took a moment to send kudos to Cornell Dining's staff "as we all work hard this week to welcome new and returning students and their family members to campus and to our dining rooms and cafes."

"It is not often that I get a chance to remind our hardworking staff that not only are we appreciated by our community, but also recognized for our efforts by the larger national community through this ranking," says Chef Ambarish.
