Co-op Mosey Open House

Learn about living in a co-op for the 2021 - 2022 academic year! The Co-op Mosey, an afternoon of virtual open houses of the university-owned cooperative residences will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm ET.

After Feb. 21 information about the houses, including links to some application forms, will continue to be available in the virtual fair platform.

The open houses will be in a virtual fair in CampusGroups, where you can chat with co-op officers, see photos, and enter Zoom sessions. You can enter each Zoom for a short while, or for a longer time, or just read the descriptions and click to request further information from the houses that interest you. Tip: when you enter the virtual fair, click the button which says "list co-ops" if you don't already see a display of their photos and names.

For more information about cooperative living see the co-op webpage at housing.cornell.edu/cooperatives. The webpages for each house list: types of rooms and amenities in each house; the number of residents; whether the house has a meal plan; the address and location; and contact information for the house.

Applying for residency is handled independently by each house. Most houses will host additional events up until March 6, 2021.  Decision notifications will be sent Sunday night, March 7, 2021. Students interested in the co-ops should also register for the General Room Selection process.

P.S.  The term "mosey" for the co-op open houses is a tradition; it was suggested an an alternative to the term "rush" used in the Greek letter organization community.
