Mar Pérez
Mar serves as Senior Coordinator in Student Support and Advocacy Services. She manages cross-functional coordination, information systems management, data and assessment, and logistics for crisis response and case management. She is also the Case Coordinator for the University’s behavior intervention team (CARE Team).
Mar’s professional career began at Cornell in 1999. Before working in the Office of the Dean of Students, she worked at the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP) and the Cornell Alumni-Student Mentoring Program. She also spoke at the annual “Soup and Hope” speaker series and is a member of the Women of Color Colleague Network Group (WCCNG).
Mar holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and Graphic Design with a specialization in Fine Arts. Sharing her life with her husband and two children, Mar loves spending time with her kids, family, and friends, practicing meditation, being in nature, and listening to music.
