Join the Tatkon Center for New Students as we celebrate the first week of classes! Enjoy free food and giveaways, as well as lawn games, photo opportunities, music, and more!  

Cornell On Ice 

Join your fellow Cornellians for Cornell on Ice, an event co-hosted by the Tatkon Center for New Students and Campus Activities in the spring semester. Free entry and skate rentals at Lynah Rink for Cornell students! 

Workshops 

Our collaborative workshops held on North Campus support the transition of our new students to Cornell. Some past workshop topics include building study skills, introduction to mindfulness meditation, and navigating your first career fair. All workshops can be found on CampusGroups. 

National Transfer Student Week 

National Transfer Student Week occurs each year during the third week of October. This week highlights the journeys of transfer students and the various backgrounds they bring to college communities. Check our CampusGroups page for events and giveaways as we celebrate our transfer students!
