Pamela Tan

Pamela TanPamela Tan is the Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Cornell University. She grew up in South Florida by way of the Philippines and received an undergraduate degree in Biology and Society from Cornell and a Master's degree in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University. Her higher education experience includes serving as: the Director of Admissions of Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; a member on the Committee for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with the Council of International Schools; Associate Director of Admissions at Vassar College; and Senior Director for Operations and Program Development for the PSAT/NMSQT at The College Board.

Pamela has also served as a volunteer for the Ithaca Youth Hockey Association and Ithaca High School Varsity Hockey as well as on the board of directors for the Community Foundation of Tompkins County, The African Seed Access Index (TASAI), and Ithaca’s WRFI community radio station.
