Chad and Ann Hoover met while graduate students at the Unification Theological Seminary in 1978. In 1982 they were blessed in marriage by Reverend and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon, the founders of the Unification Church, along with 2025 other couples at Madison Square Garden in New York City. At that time, Chad was completing a master’s degree in Architecture at Cornell. When Ann first arrived in Ithaca she fell in love with the community and the beauty of the area. We made Ithaca our home; consequently, Ithaca became the hometown to our five children.  Chad practices architecture locally. Ann is retired from a Study Abroad Advisor role at Cornell, but continues to serve Cornell through CURW.
