Tiff came to Cornell for a PhD in plant breeding and genetics and now works as a lead data engineer, supporting research administration across the university. She brings a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on leadership, from running emergency scenes as a former chief of Varna Volunteer Fire Company to guiding outdoor rock climbing trips for Cornell Outdoor Education. When she’s not working with data or out on the trail, she’s probably paddling a dragon boat or planning her next climb.
