Olivia Hunt
Assistant Director, Tatkon Center for New Students
Olivia is excited to be the newest staff member of the Tatkon Center, joining in June 2024. Prior to Cornell, she gained professional experience in Enrollment Management, Student Engagement, and Academic Advising at Syracuse University. While earning her MSEd in Higher Education Administration through The State University of New York at Brockport, Olivia worked at Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3). At TC3, she planned New Student Orientation and her love for supporting incoming students flourished.
Olivia earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice through The State University of New York at Fredonia, where she was also a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. Olivia is a proud Ithaca native and Ithaca Bakery enthusiast. When she's not in the office, Olivia likes to try out new coffee shops, thrift, and spend time with her dog, Winifred. The quote that Olivia lives by is, "Be the person you needed when you were younger". She is thrilled to continue this message as she works with incoming Cornell students from various backgrounds.
